Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is the difference between "brow sculpting" and a "brow wax"?
A. Brows sculpting is a transformation by combining trimming, waxing and tweezing,
performed by a trained, experienced artist. Brow waxing is a removal of excess hair
with wax.
Q. How often do I need to have it done?
A. Generally once a month to maintain the "perfect" shape. However, depending on hair
growth it may range anywhere from 3-6 weeks.
Q. Will I be able to maintain them myself?
A. Some people can...what will happen though, the hair will grow close to the line we've
created, you will not see it and one day you look and the shape is gone. That's when
you come in for your maintenance appointment. Usually once a month.
Q. How long is an appointment?
A. 15 minutes
Q. I have little to no brows, is there anything you can do for me?
A. You will be surprised...yes we can still shape them and we will teach you how to use
the most appropriate brow filler makeup product to make your eyebrows stand out and
look natural.
Q. Can I tan after getting waxed?
A. We recommend that you wait 24 hours.
Q. I’m on medication for my acne/ using retin A...can I still be waxed?
A. We recommend that you discontinue use of the topical product for at least five days
before your appointment. For internal medications that dry out your skin such as Accutaine,
we will only tweeze.
Q. Do I need an appointment?
A. Yes, you need to make an appointment by calling 271-2950.
